Why We Use Personal Information
Respond to your enquiry
Understand what help you are requesting, communicate with you and organise the records you provide.
Coordinate provider review
Share relevant information with a doctor or hospital only when you instruct us to request an opinion, estimate, appointment or admission.
Support medical travel
Coordinate invitation documents, appointments, arrival, accommodation, language support and follow-up when requested.
Protect people and services
Prevent misuse, secure the website, investigate complaints and respond to safety, legal or regulatory requirements.
Improve information
Correct errors, understand recurring patient questions and improve our content and service processes using appropriately limited information.
Depending on the context and applicable law, processing may rely on your consent, the steps you ask us to take, performance of an agreed service, compliance with law, protection of life or safety, or another recognised lawful basis. You may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing, but this does not invalidate processing already lawfully completed.
Security, International Access and Retention
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to reduce unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
International access
Medical travel can involve records sent from one country and reviewed in another. Where information crosses borders, we limit the purpose and apply safeguards required by applicable law.
Retention
Information is kept no longer than reasonably necessary for authorised coordination, follow-up, security, complaints and applicable legal or accounting requirements.
Data incidents
If an incident creates a material risk, we investigate, contain it and provide notices required by applicable law. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Privacy Requests and Grievances
We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request. Rights can be subject to applicable law, the rights of another person and necessary recordkeeping.
State your name, contact route, request and the enquiry or treatment dates that help us locate the record.
Information About a Child or Dependant Adult
A parent, lawful guardian or authorised representative should provide and manage information for a person who cannot validly act for themselves. We may ask for evidence of authority before sharing records, accepting instructions or acting on a rights request.
Only information necessary for the enquiry and authorised coordination should be provided. Decisions about the child’s treatment and consent remain with the lawful guardian and responsible clinical team under applicable law.
Cookies, Links and Communication Platforms
The website may use essential cookies or similar storage needed for security and operation. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and any required choice mechanism will be updated.
When you use WhatsApp, email, a hospital portal, payment service or another third-party platform, that provider also processes information under its own terms and privacy notice. Choose the communication route you are comfortable using and avoid sending more sensitive information than necessary.
Indian Data Protection Framework
India’s data protection regime includes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, with commencement occurring in phases. This policy is intended to reflect applicable obligations as they come into force, alongside other laws that may apply to particular records or services.
This page explains TIB HIND’s practices and is not legal advice. The policy may be updated when services, technology or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be shown with a revised effective date.
Privacy Questions
Does TIB HIND share my reports with every partner hospital?
No. Medical records are shared only with the providers you instruct us to approach for an opinion, estimate, appointment or treatment coordination. We aim to send only information relevant to that purpose.
Can I ask TIB HIND to delete my records?
Yes. Email your request from a contact route we can reasonably verify. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, complaint handling, fraud prevention, financial records or the establishment and defence of legal claims. We will explain any material limitation.
How long are records kept?
Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, authorised coordination, follow-up, security, complaint handling and applicable legal or accounting requirements. Retention can differ by record type and whether treatment proceeded.
Are medical records transferred across borders?
They may be. International patients often send records from outside India, and authorised providers or service infrastructure may be located in another country. We limit transfers to the stated purpose and apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
Does TIB HIND sell personal or medical information?
No. TIB HIND does not sell patient records or contact details. A hospital-funded coordination relationship does not authorise unrelated use of a patient's information.
What should I do if I send information to the wrong contact?
Contact TIB HIND immediately at tibhind@gmail.com or +91 83035 86344, identify what was sent and where, and do not resend sensitive material until the correct route is confirmed.
