Medical treatments in India, by specialty

Ten areas of medicine, arranged at NABH and JCI accredited hospitals across Delhi NCR for patients travelling from Iraq, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Oman, Yemen, Sudan, Ghana and Ethiopia. Every case is read by Dr. Annie Varughese, a US board-certified interventional cardiologist, before anyone discusses a hospital or a price with you.

Free. No obligation. A written opinion with a cost range within 48 hours.

Find your treatment

If your condition is not listed, send your reports anyway. We work with consultants across every major department in Delhi NCR, and we will tell you plainly if yours falls outside what we can arrange properly.

Heart and cardiovascular

Heart treatment in India

Cardiac care is where TIB HIND is strongest, because it is Dr. Varughese's own field. She is a board-certified interventional cardiologist, and she reads every cardiac file that reaches us before anyone else sees it.

Procedures we arrange

  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
  • Angioplasty and stent placement
  • Heart valve repair and replacement
  • TAVI — transcatheter aortic valve implantation
  • Pacemaker and ICD implantation
  • Paediatric surgery for congenital defects (ASD, VSD, tetralogy of Fallot)
  • Aortic aneurysm repair

Conditions commonly treated

  • Coronary artery disease and angina
  • Heart valve stenosis or regurgitation
  • Heart failure and cardiomyopathy
  • Arrhythmia and conduction disorders
  • Congenital heart defects in children
  • Aortic aneurysm and dissection
What moves the cost

The number of grafts or stents, the type of valve used — mechanical valves last longer, tissue valves avoid lifelong blood thinners — and how many days you spend in intensive care.

Cancer and oncology

Cancer treatment in India

Cancer care is rarely one procedure. It is a sequence — diagnosis, staging, surgery, and often months of systemic treatment. We plan the whole sequence before you fly, so you are not making decisions about the next step from a hotel room.

A second opinion is often the cheapest thing you can buy. Send the reports before you commit to a plan anywhere — including here.

Procedures we arrange

  • Surgical oncology, including minimally invasive and robotic resection
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiotherapy — IMRT, IGRT and stereotactic techniques
  • Immunotherapy and targeted therapy
  • Bone marrow transplant for blood cancers
  • Second opinion on a diagnosis made elsewhere

Conditions commonly treated

  • Breast, cervical and ovarian cancer
  • Lung and head and neck cancer
  • Colorectal, gastric and liver cancer
  • Prostate and bladder cancer
  • Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma
  • Paediatric cancers
What moves the cost

Stage at diagnosis, the number of chemotherapy cycles, whether the protocol uses biologic or targeted drugs — these can exceed the cost of surgery — and which radiotherapy technique is indicated.

Orthopaedics and joints

Joint replacement in India

Joint replacement is the most predictable work we arrange. The procedures are well standardised, recovery is measurable, and the cost difference against Europe or the Gulf is at its widest here.

Doing both knees in one admission usually costs less than two separate trips, but it is not right for every patient. That is a clinical decision, not a commercial one.

Procedures we arrange

  • Total knee replacement, single or both knees
  • Total hip replacement
  • Robotic-assisted joint replacement
  • Revision surgery where a previous implant has failed
  • Shoulder replacement
  • ACL reconstruction and arthroscopy

Conditions commonly treated

  • Advanced osteoarthritis of the knee or hip
  • Avascular necrosis of the femoral head
  • Rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis
  • Loosened, infected or failed previous implants
  • Post-traumatic joint damage
What moves the cost

Implant choice is the biggest single factor — material and manufacturer can change the total substantially. Then whether both joints are done in one admission, whether robotic assistance is used, and how complex a revision is.

Neurology and neurosurgery

Neurosurgery in India

Neurosurgical outcomes depend more on the individual surgeon and the intensive care unit behind them than on the hospital's name. This is the specialty where our selection criteria matter most.

Procedures we arrange

  • Brain tumour resection, including awake craniotomy
  • Aneurysm clipping and endovascular coiling
  • Mechanical thrombectomy for acute stroke
  • Deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease
  • Epilepsy surgery
  • Shunt surgery for hydrocephalus, including in infants

Conditions commonly treated

  • Brain tumours, benign and malignant
  • Cerebral aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation
  • Parkinson's disease and movement disorders
  • Drug-resistant epilepsy
  • Hydrocephalus
  • Stroke and its complications
What moves the cost

Tumour location and complexity, whether intraoperative neuromonitoring or navigation is required, implanted devices such as DBS electrodes, and — most of all — days in neuro intensive care.

Organ transplant

Organ transplant in India

Transplant is the most tightly regulated treatment we arrange, and the one where clear information matters most. Read the legal position before you plan anything else.

Indian law permits transplant for foreign nationals only where the donor is a near relative, with the relationship certified by your embassy and every case approved by a hospital Authorisation Committee. We cannot find, source, match or arrange a donor — nobody legally can. If any company tells you otherwise, walk away.

Procedures we arrange

  • Living-donor liver transplant
  • Kidney transplant from a living related donor
  • Paediatric liver and kidney transplant
  • Pre-transplant assessment and donor workup
  • Post-transplant follow-up arranged from your home country

Conditions commonly treated

  • Cirrhosis from hepatitis B or C, alcohol or fatty liver disease
  • Acute liver failure
  • End-stage renal disease
  • Biliary atresia and metabolic liver disease in children
What moves the cost

Donor workup, length of intensive care stay, immunosuppressive drug protocol, and whether complications such as rejection or infection occur.

Bone marrow transplant

Bone marrow transplant in India

Thalassemia and sickle cell disease are common across Iraq, Sudan, Yemen and Bangladesh, and transplant is the only treatment that offers a cure. Most of the families who contact us about this are asking on behalf of a child.

If a sibling may be a donor, HLA typing for the whole family is the first step and can often be done in your own country. Ask us before you travel.

Procedures we arrange

  • Matched sibling donor transplant
  • Haploidentical (half-matched parent) transplant
  • Matched unrelated donor transplant
  • Autologous transplant for myeloma and lymphoma
  • HLA typing and donor matching for family members

Conditions commonly treated

  • Thalassemia major
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Aplastic anaemia
  • Acute and chronic leukaemia
  • Lymphoma and multiple myeloma
  • Primary immunodeficiency in children
What moves the cost

Donor type — a matched sibling is the least complex and least expensive route — the conditioning regimen used, days in protective isolation, and whether graft-versus-host disease develops.

Spine surgery

Spine surgery in India

A great deal of spine surgery performed worldwide is avoidable. Our first job is telling you honestly whether yours is one of the cases that genuinely needs an operation.

Procedures we arrange

  • Spinal fusion, cervical and lumbar
  • Artificial disc replacement
  • Endoscopic and minimally invasive discectomy
  • Laminectomy for spinal stenosis
  • Scoliosis and deformity correction
  • Decompression for spinal tuberculosis or tumour

Conditions commonly treated

  • Herniated or prolapsed disc
  • Spinal stenosis and sciatica
  • Spondylolisthesis and instability
  • Scoliosis and kyphosis
  • Spinal tuberculosis
  • Vertebral fracture and spinal trauma
What moves the cost

The number of vertebral levels operated on, the implants and cages used, and whether navigation or robotic assistance is involved.

Fertility and IVF

IVF treatment in India

Fertility treatment is emotionally punishing and frequently oversold. We will tell you what the realistic prospect is for your age and diagnosis before you spend anything, and that conversation is free.

Surrogacy is not legally available to foreign nationals in India under the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act 2021, and we cannot arrange it. Sex selection is a criminal offence under the PCPNDT Act and we will not discuss it in any form.

Procedures we arrange

  • IVF with fresh or frozen embryo transfer
  • ICSI for male factor infertility
  • IUI
  • Blastocyst culture and vitrification
  • Egg, sperm and embryo freezing
  • Surgical sperm retrieval (TESA, PESA, micro-TESE)

Conditions commonly treated

  • Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
  • Male factor infertility and low sperm count
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome
  • Endometriosis
  • Low ovarian reserve and low AMH
  • Recurrent miscarriage and unexplained infertility
What moves the cost

How many cycles are needed, the stimulation protocol and drug doses, whether ICSI is required, and whether embryos are frozen for later transfer.

Bariatric surgery

Bariatric surgery in India

Bariatric surgery works, but only alongside the follow-up that comes after it. Any provider offering you the operation without the dietetic and metabolic programme is selling you half a treatment.

Procedures we arrange

  • Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy
  • Roux-en-Y gastric bypass
  • Mini gastric bypass
  • Revision surgery after a previous procedure
  • Pre-operative metabolic assessment
  • Structured dietetic follow-up after you return home

Conditions commonly treated

  • Obesity with associated health conditions
  • Type 2 diabetes with raised BMI
  • Obstructive sleep apnoea
  • Hypertension and fatty liver linked to weight
  • Weight regain after earlier surgery
What moves the cost

Which procedure is indicated, your BMI and other conditions, the surgical staplers used, and whether the operation is a revision of a previous one.

Liver and gastroenterology

Liver and digestive treatment in India

Hepatitis B and C remain widespread across several of the countries our patients come from, and both are now highly treatable. Many people arrive expecting a transplant conversation and leave with a course of tablets instead.

Hepatitis C is curable in most cases with a course of direct-acting antivirals. If you have been told otherwise, send us the reports.

Procedures we arrange

  • Antiviral treatment for hepatitis B and C
  • ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound
  • Variceal banding for portal hypertension
  • Endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal tumours
  • TIPS procedure
  • Management of pancreatitis and pancreatic disease

Conditions commonly treated

  • Chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C
  • Cirrhosis and portal hypertension
  • Fatty liver disease
  • Acute and chronic pancreatitis
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Gallstones and biliary obstruction
What moves the cost

The antiviral drug course and its duration, the complexity of any endoscopic procedure, and how many days of admission are required.

Also arranged

Sixteen further specialties

The ten above are what we handle most, and where our condition libraries are deepest. These sixteen we arrange regularly at the same hospitals, and each has a full page of its own.

Urology

Urology treatment in India

Stones are the commonest reason patients from the Gulf and South Asia reach us, and they are also where the most unnecessary surgery happens. Small stones frequently pass on their own, and we will tell you when yours is one of them.

Procedures we arrange

  • Ureteroscopy with laser stone fragmentation
  • Percutaneous nephrolithotomy for large stones
  • Shockwave lithotripsy
  • TURP and laser prostate enucleation
  • Urethroplasty for stricture
  • Surgical sperm retrieval and varicocele repair

Conditions commonly treated

  • Kidney and ureteric stones
  • Benign prostatic enlargement
  • Urethral stricture
  • Urinary obstruction at the kidney
  • Recurrent urinary infection
  • Incontinence in men and women
What moves the cost

Whether the stone needs one procedure or several, the type of laser used, and whether a stent is required. Prostate surgery cost varies with gland size and whether laser enucleation is used instead of standard resection.

Eye surgery

Eye surgery in India

If you have diabetes, the most valuable thing here is not an operation. Diabetic retinopathy causes no symptoms until sight is already threatened, and a yearly examination finds it while it can still be treated.

Procedures we arrange

  • Cataract surgery with lens implant
  • Laser and injections for diabetic retinopathy
  • Vitrectomy and retinal detachment repair
  • Corneal transplant, full and partial thickness
  • Glaucoma drainage surgery
  • Squint correction in children

Conditions commonly treated

  • Cataract
  • Diabetic retinopathy and macular oedema
  • Retinal detachment
  • Glaucoma
  • Keratoconus and corneal scarring
  • Age-related macular degeneration
What moves the cost

The lens you choose changes the cataract price most — standard, toric or multifocal. Retinal injections are a course over months rather than one treatment, and corneal transplant depends on tissue availability.

ENT and hearing

ENT and cochlear implants in India

For a child born deaf, every month of delay costs speech development that is difficult to recover. Congenital deafness is more frequent where marriage between relatives is common, which makes this one of the most useful things we arrange.

Procedures we arrange

  • Cochlear implantation, one ear or both
  • Tympanoplasty and mastoid surgery
  • Endoscopic sinus surgery
  • Septoplasty and turbinate reduction
  • Tonsil and adenoid surgery in children
  • Stapes surgery for otosclerosis

Conditions commonly treated

  • Congenital deafness in children
  • Chronic ear discharge and cholesteatoma
  • Chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps
  • Nasal obstruction and deviated septum
  • Sleep-disordered breathing in children
  • Sudden hearing loss in one ear
What moves the cost

The implant device itself is the largest single item, and whether one ear or both are implanted roughly doubles it. Programming sessions and therapy afterwards should be quoted as part of the package, not separately.

Vascular surgery

Vascular surgery in India

A diabetic foot that will not heal is a race, and most of the delay happens before anyone picks up a scalpel. More limbs are lost to waiting than to disease severity. Send photographs and we assess urgency within hours.

Procedures we arrange

  • Angioplasty and stenting for leg arteries
  • Lower limb bypass grafting
  • Endovascular and open aortic aneurysm repair
  • Laser and radiofrequency treatment of varicose veins
  • Carotid endarterectomy for stroke prevention
  • Dialysis fistula creation and salvage

Conditions commonly treated

  • Diabetic foot and non-healing ulcers
  • Peripheral arterial disease and rest pain
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm
  • Varicose veins with skin changes
  • Carotid artery narrowing after a TIA
  • Failing dialysis access
What moves the cost

Whether the blockage can be treated by angioplasty or needs an open bypass, the length of the segment involved, and how much wound care and dressing time is required afterwards.

Gynaecology

Gynaecology treatment in India

Hysterectomy is among the most over-performed operations in the world. For fibroids and heavy bleeding there are usually several less drastic options, and many women are never told about them.

Procedures we arrange

  • Hysteroscopic removal of fibroids and polyps
  • Myomectomy preserving the uterus
  • Laparoscopic hysterectomy where genuinely needed
  • Prolapse repair, with and without mesh
  • Endometrial ablation for heavy bleeding
  • Laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis

Conditions commonly treated

  • Uterine fibroids
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Endometriosis and adenomyosis
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Postmenopausal bleeding — always investigated
What moves the cost

Whether the uterus is preserved, whether the approach is hysteroscopic, laparoscopic or open, and the number and position of fibroids. A hormonal coil costs a fraction of any operation and controls bleeding in many women.

Chest and lungs

Chest and lung treatment in India

Tuberculosis is why most patients reach this page, and the single most important thing is testing which drugs will actually work. Treating resistant tuberculosis with standard drugs wastes months while the lungs are destroyed.

Procedures we arrange

  • Bronchoscopy with washings and biopsy
  • Endobronchial ultrasound for lymph node sampling
  • Sensitivity-guided tuberculosis regimens
  • Pleural drainage and pleuroscopy
  • Biologic therapy for severe asthma
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation

Conditions commonly treated

  • Pulmonary tuberculosis, including drug-resistant
  • Severe and difficult asthma
  • COPD
  • Interstitial lung disease and fibrosis
  • Bronchiectasis after previous infection
  • Pleural effusion of unknown cause
What moves the cost

Whether bronchoscopy is needed to secure the diagnosis, and whether the tuberculosis regimen is standard or resistant — the latter runs far longer and uses considerably more expensive drugs.

Children's surgery

Paediatric surgery in India

For a child, the anaesthetist and the intensive care unit matter as much as the surgeon. We verify that paediatric anaesthesia and a paediatric ICU exist in the same hospital before recommending anywhere.

Procedures we arrange

  • Hernia and hydrocele repair
  • Orchidopexy for undescended testis
  • Hypospadias repair
  • Pull-through surgery for Hirschsprung disease
  • Laparoscopic surgery sized for children
  • Neonatal surgery with intensive care support

Conditions commonly treated

  • Inguinal hernia and hydrocele
  • Undescended testis
  • Hypospadias
  • Anorectal malformations
  • Hirschsprung disease
  • Antenatally detected hydronephrosis
What moves the cost

Your child's age and weight, whether paediatric intensive care is needed afterwards, and whether the procedure is staged. Neonatal surgery costs considerably more than the same operation in an older child.

Kidney medicine

Kidney disease treatment in India

Much of nephrology is medication and monitoring that belongs near your home. What is genuinely worth travelling for is a kidney biopsy, a diagnosis nobody has managed to make, and planning what happens next.

Procedures we arrange

  • Kidney biopsy with full renal pathology
  • Immunosuppressive treatment for glomerular disease
  • Dialysis and fistula creation
  • Plasma exchange for selected conditions
  • Transplant workup and donor assessment
  • Metabolic assessment for recurrent stone formers

Conditions commonly treated

  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Glomerulonephritis and IgA nephropathy
  • Diabetic kidney disease
  • Polycystic kidney disease
  • Nephrotic syndrome
  • Resistant hypertension
What moves the cost

Whether a biopsy is needed, whether full renal pathology including immunofluorescence and electron microscopy is done, and whether immunosuppressive treatment follows. Most of the drug treatment itself continues at home.

Hormones and thyroid

Endocrinology and thyroid treatment in India

Thyroid nodules are extremely common and the great majority are harmless. A needle test settles it, and knowing that prevents a great deal of unnecessary surgery. Ask for the ultrasound category and the Bethesda result.

Procedures we arrange

  • Ultrasound-guided thyroid needle sampling
  • Thyroid surgery with nerve monitoring
  • Radioiodine treatment
  • Laparoscopic adrenal surgery
  • Parathyroid surgery for raised calcium
  • Complex diabetes and insulin pump assessment

Conditions commonly treated

  • Thyroid nodules and goitre
  • Overactive and underactive thyroid
  • Thyroid cancer
  • Adrenal disorders including Cushing and Conn syndrome
  • Overactive parathyroid glands
  • Growth and puberty disorders in children
What moves the cost

Whether the needle test result requires surgery at all, whether one lobe or the whole gland is removed, and whether radioiodine follows. Nerve monitoring during surgery should be included, not charged as an extra.

Reconstruction

Reconstructive surgery in India

Reconstructive work only — we do not arrange cosmetic surgery. Burns reconstruction usually waits twelve to eighteen months until scars have matured, because operating on active scar frequently means doing it twice.

Procedures we arrange

  • Burns contracture release and grafting
  • Microvascular free flap reconstruction
  • Cleft lip and palate repair
  • Hand tendon and nerve reconstruction
  • Facial reanimation after nerve palsy
  • Reconstruction after cancer surgery

Conditions commonly treated

  • Burns contractures
  • Post-traumatic soft tissue and bone loss
  • Cleft lip and palate
  • Complex non-healing wounds
  • Facial palsy
  • Lymphoedema
What moves the cost

Whether a simple graft suffices or a free flap is needed, how many stages are involved, and how much splinting and therapy time follows. Therapy is not an optional extra here — it determines the result.

Joints and autoimmune

Rheumatology treatment in India

The strongest reason to consider treatment here is cost. Biosimilar biologics are available at a fraction of Western prices, which puts effective treatment within reach of patients who could not otherwise afford it.

Procedures we arrange

  • Full diagnostic assessment with imaging
  • Conventional DMARD therapy
  • Biologic and targeted synthetic therapy
  • Joint aspiration and steroid injection
  • Infusion therapy for severe disease
  • Osteoporosis assessment and treatment

Conditions commonly treated

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus
  • Psoriatic arthritis
  • Vasculitis
  • Gout — frequently mismanaged and highly treatable
What moves the cost

Which biologic is used and whether it is a biosimilar. Screening for tuberculosis and hepatitis B is mandatory before starting and should be included in any quote — it is not optional anywhere.

General surgery

General surgery in India

We will say this plainly: for a straightforward hernia or gallbladder, travelling internationally is often not worth it. This is useful mainly for recurrent cases, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, or where local services are unavailable.

Procedures we arrange

  • Laparoscopic hernia repair, including bilateral
  • Laparoscopic gallbladder removal
  • Complex abdominal wall reconstruction
  • Anorectal surgery for piles and fistula
  • Diagnostic laparoscopy for unexplained pain
  • Thyroid and soft tissue surgery

Conditions commonly treated

  • Inguinal and femoral hernia
  • Incisional hernia after previous surgery
  • Gallstones causing symptoms
  • Piles, fissure and fistula
  • Abdominal tuberculosis — a common missed cause
  • Lumps requiring excision and histology
What moves the cost

Whether the repair is primary or recurrent, the mesh used, and whether the abdominal wall needs reconstruction. Simple day-case work rarely justifies the flight, and we will say so.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation in India

Among the most worthwhile and most overlooked reasons to travel. Recovery after stroke or spinal injury depends on how much therapy you actually receive, and intensity is precisely what is affordable here.

Procedures we arrange

  • Assessment and written goal setting
  • Intensive daily physiotherapy
  • Occupational therapy and independence training
  • Speech and swallowing therapy
  • Prosthetics, orthotics and equipment fitting
  • Family training before discharge

Conditions commonly treated

  • Stroke — motor, speech and swallowing
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • After joint replacement, spine and cardiac surgery
  • Cerebral palsy in children
  • Deconditioning after long intensive care
What moves the cost

How many hours of therapy per day and how many weeks the programme runs. Ask for the timetable in writing — intensity is the whole point, and it is what distinguishes a real programme from a token one.

Skin

Skin treatment in India

Most skin conditions are managed better and more cheaply near your home, and we will tell you so. What is worth travelling for is vitiligo surgery, biologic therapy you could not otherwise afford, and a diagnosis nobody has made.

Procedures we arrange

  • Vitiligo surgery — melanocyte transplantation and grafting
  • Narrowband phototherapy
  • Biologic therapy for severe psoriasis and eczema
  • Skin cancer excision with reconstruction
  • Skin biopsy read by a dermatopathologist
  • Treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa

Conditions commonly treated

  • Vitiligo
  • Severe psoriasis
  • Severe eczema
  • Chronic urticaria
  • Hair loss including alopecia areata
  • Cutaneous tuberculosis and deep fungal infection
What moves the cost

Vitiligo surgery depends on the area treated and the grafting technique. Biologics depend on which agent — biosimilars cost a fraction of the originator. Phototherapy is a course over weeks, which is the practical constraint.

Dental and jaw

Dental implants and jaw surgery in India

Dentistry is where the cost difference is largest and where staged treatment matters most. Implants cannot be completed in one short trip — the implant needs three to six months to fuse with bone before it can carry a crown.

Procedures we arrange

  • Dental implants, single and full-arch
  • Full-mouth rehabilitation
  • Bone grafting and sinus lift
  • Orthognathic jaw surgery
  • Surgical removal of impacted teeth
  • Oral reconstruction after cancer or trauma

Conditions commonly treated

  • Missing teeth, single or multiple
  • Extensive decay and failing dentition
  • Jaw deformity and malocclusion
  • Impacted wisdom teeth causing problems
  • Temporomandibular joint disorders
  • Facial fractures needing reconstruction
What moves the cost

The number of implants, whether bone grafting is needed first, and the material of the final teeth. Ask for the number of visits in writing — unclear staging is the commonest source of dental travel disappointment.

Mental health

Mental health support in India

We will be direct: we do not recommend travelling internationally for psychiatric care by itself. Continuity of care matters more here than in any other specialty, and continuity is exactly what travel breaks.

Procedures we arrange

  • Psychiatric assessment in your own language
  • Structured review of complex medication
  • Psychological assessment before bariatric surgery
  • Psychological assessment for living organ donors
  • Support during long admissions, for patient and family
  • A written formulation for your own doctor

Conditions commonly treated

  • Depression alongside chronic illness
  • Anxiety before major surgery
  • Delirium after surgery in older patients
  • Adjustment after a life-changing diagnosis
  • Carer strain in accompanying family
  • Long-standing regimens needing fresh review
What moves the cost

This is assessment rather than a procedure, and it is priced by session. We arrange it alongside treatment you are already coming for — not as a reason to travel in itself.

01 / 16
Why India

What makes treatment in India genuinely worth considering

Seven reasons patients travel here, and the specific thing that makes each one real rather than a slogan. The strength shown is our own assessment, not a rating anyone awarded us.

01

Cost

Substantial

For complex surgery the difference is transformative. A liver transplant, a bone marrow transplant for thalassemia, or a cardiac operation costs a fraction of the European or Gulf price. We tell you precisely where your case sits, flights and accommodation included, so the figure you plan around is the real one.

02

Surgical expertise

Exceptional

Indian surgeons operate at volumes rarely matched anywhere, because of the population they serve. A Delhi cardiac surgeon may perform more valve operations in a year than a European colleague does in five. We select on that number — annual volume in your procedure, the measure most closely linked to outcome.

03

Speed of access

Decisive

Where you might wait months for a scan, then an opinion, then a date, the whole sequence can be completed in weeks. For some conditions that is clinical, not convenient — a child's scoliosis progressing through a growth spurt, or cervical myelopathy where lost function does not return.

04

Accreditation

A solid foundation

JCI and NABH accreditation confirms international standards for safety, infection control and patient process, and we work only with accredited units. We then go one step further, matching you to the unit with the highest volume in your specific procedure.

05

Technology

Excellent, used well

Intraoperative neuromonitoring, neuronavigation, conformal radiotherapy, endoscopic ultrasound and robotic platforms are all available and genuinely change outcomes. We verify the specific equipment your case needs is on site rather than assuming a well-known name implies it.

06

Breadth of treatment

Comprehensive

Twenty-six specialties, from routine procedures to transplant and complex reconstruction, within one region. Working in Delhi NCR alone is deliberate — we have visited these units, know their teams, and can move you between specialties without starting again.

07

International patient care

Well established

Indian hospitals have run international services for decades, with interpreters, visa letters, dietary provision and coordinators as standard. We add a clinician-led layer: a doctor reads your reports before any commercial conversation, and the same team follows you home.

These advantages are strongest for complex, planned treatment and weakest for straightforward day surgery, where the journey can outweigh the saving. Send your reports and we will tell you exactly which apply to your case — and where the benefit is genuinely large, we will say so.

Our position

What we commit to, and where we draw the line

The left column is what every patient gets, on every case, without asking. The right column matters just as much — where a company draws its lines tells you how much to trust everything else it says.

Six commitmentsWhat every patient gets
01
A doctor reads your reports first

Before anyone discusses money, and including when the answer is that no treatment is needed at all.

No sales call first
02
We tell you when not to travel

When the case does not warrant it, when the timing is wrong, or when it can be done better and cheaper near your home.

Even when it costs us
03
We publish cost ranges, with the variables

A range and what moves it, rather than a single figure that changes once you have arrived and committed.

No surprises on arrival
04
We name the consultant, and explain why

That surgeon and that hospital, justified by annual volume in your procedure and the capability the case needs.

Reasoning, not reputation
05
An interpreter is in the room

Arabic, Russian, Bengali or English, present at consultations, with the discussion explained again afterwards.

You understand what was said
06
We follow you after you fly home

A written protocol your own doctor can act on, and remote review with the consultant who treated you.

Care does not end at the airport
Included in the price the hospital quotes. None of these is charged as an extra.
Six limitsWhat we will never do
01
Find, source or match an organ donor

Indian law requires a near relative, certified by your embassy and approved by a hospital committee.

Protects you from prosecution
02
Arrange surrogacy or sex selection

Surrogacy is closed to foreign nationals under the 2021 Act, and sex selection is a criminal offence.

Both are unlawful here
03
Sell stem cell therapy for neurological conditions

For stroke, cerebral palsy, autism or spinal cord injury there is no established evidence it works.

Your money goes further elsewhere
04
Arrange cosmetic surgery

Reconstruction after burns, trauma and cancer, certainly. Aesthetic enhancement is not what our review process is built for.

Medical need only
05
Quote a price before a doctor has read your file

A number produced from an enquiry form is a marketing figure. It is not an estimate and it will change.

Estimates you can plan around
06
Take a commission you cannot see

Hospitals pay us, the fee is published in full, and it does not vary with the treatment you choose.

No incentive to upsell you
If another company has offered you any of these, you are being offered something unlawful, unproven, or both.

Our fee comes from the hospital and is disclosed in full on how we are paid. We publish it because the alternative — a commission you cannot see, added to a price you cannot check — is how this industry earned its reputation, and we would rather not inherit it.
